Kebabs are a very good way of preparing chicken breast in a new and exciting way. This is a recipe for Key West Griled Chicken that I found on GroceryBudget101.com and adapted for the Dukan diet. Makes 2 serves, with 2 tolerated items each portion.
Ingredients
- 4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 4 tablespoon sugar free Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoon stweetener
- 1 teaspoon olive oil (optional)
- bamboo sticks
Directions
- Prepare skewers by soaking bamboo sticks in water for 15 minutes.
- Cut chicken breast into large chunks and skewer onto bamboo sticks
- Mix the ingredients for the marinade: sugar free soy sauce, lemon (or lime) juice, minced garlic, sweetener and olive oil.
- Cover the kebabs with this mixture and let marinate for at least 20 minutes
- Grill on medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes each side, until juices run clear.
- Serve with lemon wedges, a pinch of kosher salt and some fresh herbs, chopped. Enjoy!
